Unrelenting fight for freedom and unity


Led by an armed rebel group, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim, under the leadership of Isak Chisi Swu and Thuingaleng Muivah, the Nagas, living both in India’s northeast and Burma’s Northwest, have waged over 60 years of struggle for independence. However, Naga leaders said the recent increased in bilateral cooperation between India and Burma is aimed to crash upon the Naga movement and to further divide the Naga unity.
